The PhD is normally a three-year degree, with the possibility of up to 12 months extension. From 1st July 2026 this includes: a living stipend of $39,220 per annum, tax-free and indexed annually; your tuition fees covered; and—if not an Australian citizen or permanent resident—Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
